Seakeeper Ride
A better ride, without changing the boat.
Ride mounts on the transom below the waterline and trims the boat for you as you run, working against pitch, roll and yaw before you feel them. Seakeeper's own figure is up to 70 percent of the pitch and roll, taken out underway.
We fit it, wire it to the helm and set it up on the water. It is quoted per boat, because the right controller depends on the hull and how you run it.

Winterizing is usually more than the engines. Freshwater systems, heads, washdowns, livewells, generators and a Seakeeper may all need attention before it freezes. Every boat is different, so tell us what systems are on your boat and the estimate is built around yours.

Before you call
Do you come to my boat?
Yes. Eastern Bay Boat Works was built as a mobile marine service company, so whenever possible, we come directly to your boat at the marina, dock or your home. We know getting a boat to a shop can be inconvenient, and sometimes impossible, which is why mobile service remains a big part of how we work. For jobs better suited to a controlled environment, we also have shop space in Ocean City.
Are you an authorized Mercury dealer?
Yes. Eastern Bay Boat Works is an authorized Mercury outboard dealer, including the V12 platform. We're also the closest authorized Mercury V12 dealer for many boaters on Maryland's Eastern Shore and the surrounding area.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in Ocean City and regularly provide mobile service throughout the surrounding Maryland and Delaware coastal areas. For certain projects, we travel farther, including Annapolis, Easton and Kent Island. If you're outside our immediate service area, give us a call. Depending on the scope of the work, we may be able to come to you.
Can you winterize my boat?
Yes. We can winterize all of the systems on your boat, and we also offer shrink wrapping and land storage for boats on trailers. Winter is also a great time to take care of larger projects, and we can handle most repowers, electronics, rigging and other upgrades at our shop while your boat is out of the water.
Who will be working on my boat?
Your boat will be worked on by Donnie or one of our technicians. Donnie's experience and expertise are part of the foundation of how we approach every job, but we also place a strong emphasis on ongoing technician training and manufacturer certifications. That means you can feel comfortable knowing your boat is in the hands of someone knowledgeable and qualified, no matter who on our team is doing the work.
