Service Terms

At Eastern Bay Boat Works, LLC, we approach every project with a focus on clear communication, dependable service, and doing the job right. The following outlines the key policies that guide our work.

Estimates are provided in good faith based on visible conditions and are valid for 30 days. Due to the nature of marine service and repair, additional work may be required as projects progress. When this occurs, we make every effort to communicate clearly and obtain approval before proceeding.

Marine service is a collaborative process. Accurate information about your vessel’s history, equipment, and prior work helps us diagnose issues effectively and complete repairs to the highest standard.

Labor is billed at standard rates, and diagnostic time is billable regardless of outcome. Deposits are required prior to commencing work, and payment in full is due upon completion.

Parts and material pricing are subject to change, and all shipping and handling costs are passed through to the client. Customer-supplied parts are installed at the client’s discretion; however, no warranty is provided on those parts or associated labor.

We stand behind our workmanship and provide a one-year warranty on labor. Manufacturer warranties are subject to their respective terms and approval. While we may assist in processing claims, approval is not guaranteed, and denied claims remain the responsibility of the client.

We operate with a straightforward approach to billing and warranty—clear expectations, no surprises, and open communication throughout the process.

Marine work can be affected by factors outside of our control, including weather, material availability, and vessel access. We work diligently to manage schedules and keep clients informed throughout the process.

Full details, including warranty limitations, payment terms, and Maryland lien rights, are outlined in our complete Service Terms & Conditions below..
