SeaStar Hydraulic Power Assist Steering Upgrade
We recently completed a SeaStar hydraulic power assist steering upgrade on a center console to improve overall handling and reduce steering effort during long runs offshore.
The system integrates with the boat’s existing hydraulic steering setup to provide smoother, more responsive control at the helm — especially at higher speeds and in rougher conditions.
The customer was looking for a steering upgrade that would make the boat easier and more comfortable to handle during long offshore runs and extended days on the water.
Hydraulic power assist systems are especially useful on larger center consoles and higher-horsepower setups where steering effort can become more noticeable at speed or in rough conditions.
